1. Understanding the product
First step is to develop an in-depth understanding of the product. This will require our team to be given a demo, followed by two to three interactions.
2. Developing the structure
Next step is to define the document structure. The structure will vary according to the the target audience.
3. Developing the content
Once the structure is approved by the client, our team starts with content development. This could be divided into multiple approval milestones so that the client is well aware about the stage and progress. If the documentation site is required to be search engine friendly, content will incorporate SEO requirements as well.
4. Building documentation website
After signing off on the content, our team's focus will shift to building documentation site. We prefer Docusaurus as the platform to build the site. Once a theme is selected, we will populate the content using mark down tags. The code base can be pushed to a versioning system like Git, and can be deployed in the server provided by client.
5. Updating documentation
Once the initial launch is done, the documentation will require periodic updates. Our team will work with you on the future updates of the documentation.
